Exam preparation – complete all past papers, learn vocabulary, use tenses correctly, give opinions and justify them. Prepare for speaking by saying sentences aloud.  Bonne chance!

Speaking Preparation

Answer all the speaking questions for the three themes (see W drive link above). You could continue to make mind maps on each topic within each of the three themes, to include the use of several tenses, with opinions and justifications.

There will also be some role-plays and photo cards to prepare. See exam papers link above.

Writing Preparation

Complete the writing tasks at the end of each textbook unit.  Also practise writing tasks by completing past papers.

 

Any other workbooks and revision books at home can also be used for exam preparation.

 

Year 12

 

  1. Complete all units of work from the textbook. Access the listening activities from the school W:Drive\Faculties and Subjects\MFL\A Level Audi
  2. Complete all AS speaking questions previously emailed and speaking card resources, given out in class.

  4. Check the W drive for work to complete. See link below
  5. Use W:Drive\Faculties and Subjects\MFL\French\KS5for the writing questions on the film and novel, to complete one AS essay on ‘Au Revoir Les Enfants’ that you have not yet completed.  Use your textbook P142 to check the structure of your essay.

 

Year 13

  1. Complete all units of work from the textbook. More extensive research may be required for each unit. You should be able to do access the listening activities from W:Drive\Faculties and Subjects\MFL\A Level Audio
  2. Complete all AS and A2 speaking questions that have been emailed previously. 
  3. Complete research and preparation on IRP.

  5. Check the W:drive for further work to complete.
  6. Use W:Drive\Faculties and Subjects\MFL\French\KS5for the writing questions on the film and novel, to complete one A2 essay on ‘Au Revoir Les Enfants’ and one on ‘No et Moi’ that you have not yet completed. Use the textbook P144 to check the structure of your essay.
